Alisia (Baldhead) Cote Obituary

 

It is with great sadness that we have suffered the great loss of our dear sister Alisia Fern (Baldhead) Cote.

Alisia Fern (Baldhead) Cote was born on April 18, 1987 in Kamsack, SK to her mother Norma Delores Strongquill and father Christopher Domonique Baldhead. . She entered eternal rest on March 7, 2018 at the age of 30 years in Regina, SK.

Alisia leaves to mourn her passing; Her best friend and companion Ian Wasacase whom she loved and shared her life with, sisters; Serina Strongquill, Christey Baldhead and Carra Strongquill, brothers; Joseph Strongquill and Christopher Jr Baldhead, she will also be greatly missed by her children; Quincey Cote, Lyndell Cote and Stevie Cote.

She was predeceased by her grandparents; Jack Baldhead and Alice Baldhead (Brass), Thomas Strongquill and Mary Jane Strongquill, her loving mother Norma Strongquill uncles; Stanley Baldhead, Robert Strongquill and Gary Pelletier.

Alisia was a very loving young woman. She loved her family and always wanted the best for them. She was a talented young woman that played drums, guitar and also loved to sing.  

A traditional wake was held on Friday, March 9, 2018  from the Keeseekoose First Nation Band Hall.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 10, 2018  also from the Keeseekoose First Nation Band Hall.

Interment followed at the Keeseekoose First Nation Traditional Cemetery.
