Constance (Connie) Stevenson of Regina, SK and formerly of Keeseekoose First Nation passed away at the age of 60 years on May 9, 2019 in Regina,SK.
A traditional wake was held on Sunday, May 12, 2109 at the Yellow house # 9 (Behind the band hall) on Keeseekoose First Nation.
A traditional funeral service was held on Monday, May 12, 2109 from the Keeseekoose First Nation Band Hall with a traditional interment before noon.
Interment followed at the Keeseekoose First Nation Traditional Cemetery.
Connie was educated at St Philips from Kindergarten to Grade Eight then K.C.I for the remainder of her late teens. She worked as a roofer and done construction in Calgary, Alberta, and then she came home to work in home care while raising her family.
Connie was predeceased by her parents; Albert & Elizabeth Stevenson, brothers; Peter, Leslie (Chottie) & Robert Sr, sisters; Joyce & Frances.
She is survived by her sons; Jonathan (Blue) (Petra) Stevenson of Moose Jaw & Shylo (Nikita Charles) Stevenson of Prince Albert, brother; Charles Stevenson of Kamsack, sisters; Linda (Enock) Poitras of Peepeekisis, grandchildren; Jaden, Hailey, Shance, Mason, Jazmin, Conner, Jaxon, Oaklyn, Amber and Myles as well as many nieces & nephews & her best friend Nadine (Buddy) Akapew of Regina.
The family requests that their are no children present at the wake and funeral service.
