Cynthia Cote passed away at the age of 58 years on January 29, 2019 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.
A wake was held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from the Chief Gabriel Cote Educational Complex.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 also from the Chief Gabriel Cote Educational Complex.
Interment followed at the Cote First Nation Cemetery.
Cynthia Cote was born in Kamsack, SK to Kenneth and Sarah Cote. She was educated at the Yorkton Parkland College, worked at Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton for 15 years, and was involved in SIGA.
She was predeceased by her father Kenneth, mother Sarah, brothers; Eric, Kenward, and Curtis, sisters; Peggy and Sonia, daughter Holly Quewezance, husband Albert Quewezance, grandson Keane Littlechief, and son Ryan Cote.
She leaves behind her sons; Albert Quewezance Jr., Lynsie Quewezance (Benita), daughter Shilo Cote, brothers; Valentino, Earl, Vernon, Gregory, and Christopher, sisters; Victoria Rattlesnake, Sylvia, Rozella, and Bonnie, as well and several grandchildren.
