Hilliard Friday

Hilliard Friday passed away at the age of 75 years on October 28, 2018 in Yorkton, SK.

A wake was held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018  from the Cote First Nation Band Hall.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 1, 2018  also from the Cote First Nation Band Hall.

Interment followed at the Friday Family Cemetery.

 Hilliard Friday was born on October 7th, 1943 to John and Rosie Friday in Kamsack Union Hospital. He went home to be with the Lord October 28, 2018 at the age of 75. Hilliard loved God, his family, his farm, horses, travelling, his community and he was very passionate about politics and equality. Hilliard was hardworking fearless, resilient, strong, grateful, humble, giving, outspoken, smart, humorous, spiritual and always have whatever he could to help anyone. He was a father figure to many and loved many with all his heart.

Hilliard is predeceased by his parents; John and Rosie Friday, his siblings; (Johnny, Claude, Clinton, Charlie, Tom, Olive, Audrey, Sianne, Donna and Eben.)

Survived by his wife; Betty, his children; Enola, Curwen, Jojo (Nadine), Alvin, Delilah, Shekeida, Tally, Shayna, Meghan, Fayla and all other children who had the honour to call him dad. Many grandchildren Angel, Thalles, Joel, Hailey, Scarlet, Jaeden, Leaerick, Marlon, Janessa, Tobias, Colin and unborn twins (Hillary and Kalynn). Siblings; Elwood, Sadie, Janet, Ida. Also so many relatives and friends.

Hilliard loved his whole family in his lifetime and we know he would want to thank everyone for loving him in his lifetime. He is walking on streets of gold and has gained his crown and is now in his mansion over the hilltop.
