Judy Quewezance

Judy Quewezance passed away at the age of 67 years on October 8, 2017 in Regina, SK.

A wake was held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from the Keeseekoose Chief's Educational Complex.

A funeral service was held on Friday, October 13, 2017 also from the Keeseekoose Chief's Educational Complex.

Interment  followed at the Keeseekoose Traditional Cemetery. 

Judy was predeceased by her parents, sisters and her baby Josephine.

She is survived by her husband Joseph, sons; Ellio Quewezance of Keeseekoose First Nation, Enock Quewezance of Keeseekoose First Nation, Nicholas Ketchemonia of Keeseekoose First Nation, Montana Matechuck (Katy Badger) of Cote First Nation, Tyrene Cote (Symantha Dillon) of Cote First Nation, daughters; Enilda Cote (Jeff Severight) of Cote First Nation, Logan Quewezance(Newton Badger) of Keeseekoose First Nation, and Arval Cote of Cote First Nation, brother Darrell Cote (Vic) of Regina as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Judy took her schooling at St Philips School on Keeseekoose First Nation. She went on to marry the love of her life Joseph Quewezance on October 4, 1969 at the St Philips Church on Keeseekoose First Nation. She worked at the Keeseekoose Girls Group Home as well as raising several children whom where abandoned. Judy spent her life working for the Lord whom she loved with all her heart.
