Robert Charles Whitehawk Jr. was born in Vancouver B.C. on August 10, 1979 and passed away peacefully on June 2, 2019 in Brandon Manitoba.
He was a highly trained Iron worker who started at the age of 16. He traveled all over the world including Puerto Rico and Vancouver etc. He helped build a bridge in Vancouver, high rises in Puerto Rico and across Canada. He also built the Keeseekoose School and Cote Chief Gabriel Educational Complex. He was also a cat lover raising cats. He graduated from Parkland College about 2013-2014. He was a very Christian Man and loved his family, daughters, and grandson dearly.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Wesley Whitehawk and Alice Favel, Alfred Quewezance and Margaret Quewezance, his father Robert Whitehawk Sr., Uncles; Ralph, Maynard, and Douglas, aunties; Eileen and Eleanor Whitehawk, sisters; Sonya Rose Whitehawk and Yvonne Whitehawk.
Robert is survived by his mother Annabelle Whitehawk, daughters Summer Stevenson, Juanita Cote, grandson Ocean, brothers; Earl Quewezance, Collen Whitehawk, sisters; Valerie Easter, Cheryl cote, Cindy Tourangeau, Wanda Quewezance, and Rita Quewezance, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Traditional Wake was held Wednesday June 5, 2019 from the Cote First Nation Band Hall
A Funeral Service was held Thursday June 6, 2019 also from the Cote First Nation Band Hall
Interment followed at the Cote First Nation Cemetery
