Adrielle Shingoose-Kakakaway Obituary

It is with heart felt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Adrielle Nathan Shingoose-Kakakaway on March 15, 2026 on The Keeseekoose First Nation at the age of 11 years.

Adrielle had a special love for friends, family and animals. She loved her dog, Disoto and the family dog, Charcole. When it came to her friends, classmates and teachers, she went out of her way to make them feel extra special by the things she said and done. Her family loved her dearly and she loved them too, not a day went by when she "needed" her poutine. When it came to mom and dad, she went above and beyond to make sure they felt loved and had what they needed. She loved he aunties, Mary Ann, Marie, Carlene and her uncles, Houston and Jack (J.J.). Papa Allen and CoCo Deanna thought the world of her. Adrielle always gave with a loving heart. She was the eldest grand-daughter, her siblings Kat, Kylo and Yuri loved and looked after their big sister in every way. Her cousins Kyrin and Rosanna held a special place in her heart and she openly and lovingly showed it.

Adrielle will be sadly missed by those she came to know and loved. She openly shared and gave her love freely and uniquely to those around her. She attended K.C.E.C. Education Center from Pre-K to grade 6. At the tender age of 6, she put on her first pair of skates and played for the Kamsack Flyers from  2020-2021. At the age of 3, she developed a love for music and dancing. When it came to school., Adrielle was proud to be apart of the class. She proudly took direction and had a knack of finishing on time and handing her work in. Adrielle was an award winning student, and we were proud of her and all that she achieved. Her last school project she achieved was her Science Fair project she worked diligently to make sure she finished it with tender loving care. She will always be a winner in what she does. God is gonna be honored to have an angel like her.

Adrielle is predeceased by her great grandparents; Robert (Big Bob) Kakakaway, Mavis Kakakaway, John T. Quewezance, Marlene A. Quewezance, grandparents; Stephanie Quewezance, Jack Fofonoff Sr, uncles; Nathan L.T. Strongquill, Allen J. Strongquill, and Ashley (Bushman) Kakakaway.
