Anne Emily Pineault

It is with great sadness the family announces on April 15,2023 the peaceful passing of Anne Emily Pineault from Orchard Manor at the age of 99 years. Beloved wife of the Late John Joseph Pineault. She was born on the family farm in Pelly, Saskatchewan on November 9,1923.

Anne was enlisted on October 20,1942 No.4 Platoon A Company in Vermilion, Alberta, where she served her Country. This is where she met the love of her life John Pineault who was also serving his country. Once the war ended John worked in construction which allowed them to travel to many different countries. Anne adored her three children, Harvey, Sharon and Cathy. Her zest for life touched many lives around the world.

Anne passion was sewing, which she excelled at and had such a great flare for style. Anne loved to golf, cook, dance, read, ride her bike and decorate her home wherever her travels led them. Anne moved into Orchard Manor on April 23, 2018 and lived her remaining years under the wonderful care given by Orchard Manor staff.

Anne was predeceased by her parents Dan Hrabchak(July 31,1975), Lena Hrabchak (July 17,1982) husband John Joseph Pineault (Aug.19,2004) Son Harvey Pineault(1965) daughters Sharon Wolfe(1997) , Cathy Greaves (2005). siblings Mary Makaeff, John Hrabchak, Helen Shankowsky, Elsie Krawchuk.

She is survived by her last brother Arnold Hrabchak (Janice Cantelon Kraning) of Winnipeg, Nephew Garry(Bernadette) Krawchuk The Pas, one granddaughter Tiffany Wolfe and Shaelyn Tennant great grand daughter, many other nieces, nephews, family and extended friends. Family is like the branches of a tree. We may grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. Anne will be truly missed, but not forgotten. 

Anne will be in care of First Memorial Funeral Service, Kelowna, BC . Cremation. Anne will be buried on June 9, 2023 in the care of Andrychuk Funeral Home Interment at the Riverview Cemetery, Kamsack, SK.
