Bj leaves to mourn his life and legacy, the love of his life and mother of his children Kellee Tourangeau, children; Mikhye, Kieren, Torrin, Elexis and Kiniw, father; Bernard "Meno" Quewezance, mother; Lorena Lynn Cote, sister; Twyla Kakakaway (Levi), brothers; Gabriel and Tyler Quewezance and Justis Cote, grandmothers; Elizabeth Yuzicappi-Cote, Mabel Cote and Linda Quewezance, grandfathers Mike Quewezance, Bobby Quewezance, special aunt Norinne Cote (Thom)  and numerous aunts,uncles from Cote, Keeseekoose and Key First Nation. 

Bj is predeceased by his paternal great-grandparents; Fred and Laura Quewezance, maternal great-grandparents; John F. and Madelaine Cote, paternal grandparents; David O'Soup and Sylvia Kakakaway (Quewezance), maternal grandarents; Patrick Cote and Faye L. Cote (Shingoose), sisters; Olivia Kakakaway, Aliyah Quewezance and Alyssa Quewezance.
