Christin Donna Louise Oakes

Christin Donna Louise Oakes “Paskwah Moh Stohs Kah Wi Tipah Maht Ehskweh Woh” “Buffalo  Who Sits With A Woman” was born on November 18th, 1998, in Regina, Saskatchewan to Donald Clifford Oakes and Louise Starr.  She was suddenly called home by the Creator on April 17th, 2024. 

She was predeceased by her Mushums: Donald Montour and Christopher Starr, Kokum Madeline Oakes. Her closest Cousins who she considered brothers and sisters, Eric Starr and Megan Starr, her Uncle Earl Dufour (Baby D). 

She is survived by two beautiful babies, Jacee and Diamond Eagles, her Maternal Grandmother, Donna Starr, her parents, Donald Oakes and Louise Starr. Her siblings:  Ryan Wesaquate (Niki), Nathan Oakes (Karla), Justin Oakes (Jasmine), Brandon Oakes, Shelyn Oakes, Winston Oakes, Colin Oakes and Janine Oakes, Donica Oakes (Leland), Keanu Leanman, Cameron Starr (Diedre) and Curtis Starr and numerous Nephews and Nieces.  

Christin was a very loving Daughter, Sister and Mother.  She had a very contagious laugh and smile.  She was beautiful inside and out.  She left her mark on anyone she met. She was smart in many ways, she enjoyed showing affection either with love or tough love but either way she had pure intentions and a pure heart.
