Claudia Narissa Courchene

It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Claudia on February 8, 2026 in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 49 years.

Claudia is survived by her parents; Alvin and Sharon Severight (Cote First Nation), children; Terryl Alvin James Severight, Alex Whitehawk, Chelsey Whitehawk, Christian Severight, April May Courchene of Winnipeg, Brennan Courchene of Regina, SK, Albert and Melanie of Saskatoon, SK, Churchill Kanapace of Saskatoon, SK, as well numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends of Regina, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and the Cote First Nation.

She is predeceased by Albina and Stanford Courchene of Sagkeeng First Nation, Albert and Cora Severight of The Cote First Nation, brother; Vince Severight of The Cote First Nation.

Claudia will forever missed and loved.
