Colleen Pelly- It is with great saddness that the family of Colleen Pelly announces her passing at the age of 44 years,in Regina,Saskatchewan on Tuesday October 12,2010.Colleen was born on August 28,1966 in Kamsack,SK.
A traditional Wake and Prayers was held on Friday, October 15,2010 from the Cote First Nation Band Hall.Officiating was by an Elder.Prayers and singing where preformed by Jamie Desjarlais and Sidney Keshane. Honor song by: Saulteaux Feather Singers.
Funeral service was held on Saturday,October 16,2010 from the Cote First Nation Band Hall, with interment following at the New Cote First Nation Cemetery.
Colleen was predeceased by her parents: Norman and Irene Pelly,Grandparents: Mary and John Pelly, Abbie Ruth Cote and Johnny Severight,husband: Ralph Keshane Sr, children: Debbie Jean Pelly and Jamie Lee Keshane, brothers: John(Big John)Pelly and Lawerance Wayne Pelly,and sisters Joyce Pelly,Norma Pelly, Debra Pelly and Lorraine Keshane.
Colleen leaves to mourn, her loving family, common law, Joseph Lowe of Starblanket, sons Joe-Norman Keshane (Judy) of Ft Quappelle, Justice Cuthbert Keshane (Crystal)of Keeseekoose, James Ross Ralph Keshane of Ft Quappelle, grandchildren whom she loved so dearly: Gemini Jade Keshane and Jarek Tavin Keshane, sisters:Beatrice Verigin of Edmonton,AB,Gloria Pelly of Yorkton,SK. Marjorie Pelly of Yorkton,SK. Shirley Keshane (Cuthbert) of Keeseekoose, SK. Connie Pelly (Jiggs)of Cote First Nation, brothers: James Ross Pelly of Moose Jaw,SK. and Robert James Cote of Yorkton,SK. special nephews: Dwight Pelly, Evan Pelly,Darren Pelly, Ralph Keshane, Jason Keshane and James Pelly,special nieces: Sonia Pelly, Shauntelle Pelly, Deanna Pelly, Lenora Pelly,Janice Rose, Lana Keshane and Shekina Keshane, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
