Constance "Ariel" Shingoose was born at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Sk. She was born to Raymond and Constance Shingoose. Ariel was a kind and loving person. Ariel was a Social Work student in her 3rd year at the University of Regina.
She is survived by precious daughter Rayia Dorothy Lanelle Shingoose, her loving parents; Connie and Raymond Shingoose, sisters; Rae (John) Shingoose, Rochelle (Edward) Cote, Renae Shingoose, brother; Lance Crowe, her Koko; Mary Stoney; her 10 nieces, 3 nephews and 1 grandson who are listed as Honorary Pallbearers as she loved them dearly.
Ariel is predeceased by her grandparents; Victor and Evelyn (nee Musqua) Shingoose, Mabel Shingoose, her grandfather; Harry Stoney, her great grandparents; Jim and Miranda Shingoose, William and Agnes Musqua, Great Koko Dorothy Crowe (nee Musqua), her twin brother and sister Raymond Jr. and Cherish Shingoose and a younger brother Victor James Shingoose.
Ariel believed in the Creator, Prayer and Traditional and Cultural way of life. Ariel was an active member of the Native American Church. She was a fancy dress dancer and a jingle dress dancer. She enjoyed traveling with her mother and dancing at Powwows with her family. Ariel was taught to believe in healing and wellness and was active in her journey to become a better person to live a good way of life on the red road. She was soft spoken and had a gentle heart. Ariel had many dreams and aspirations, she had set goals, within her education personal and professional endeavors. She was a very proud, nurturing and loving mother to her daughter; Rayia. She was fond for expressing her love to all her family, parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandson. Ariel was a very good cook and loved to cook for her family, she loved big family dinners. Ariel also travelled all across Canada with her dad. She was very smart in her University studies, she would pull in 100 % grades in her essays and assignments. She had many friends that she cherished and enjoyed spending time with.
