Daniel being the youngest was born on August 30, 1938 to Alexander and Polly Andrychuk on the family farm outside of Veregin, Sk.
On September 23, 1961, Daniel married Emily Solomon. Then in 1965, Dan graduated as a mechanic with a Certificate of Qualification Journeymen's Status. During this time, he worked for Garden City Motors, owned and operated Percey's (Elite) Confectionery, then for Kendal Motors LTD for 25 years as front desk and parts manager.
Dan loved sports, including curling, hockey, baseball. He was also secretary /treasurer for The Adult Hockey Club and secretary / treasurer for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of All Saints.
Dan is survived by his wife; Emily, sons; Laurie and Brad, sister in law; Elsie and Verna. Dan is predeceased by his brothers; Nick (Pearl) Andrychuk, George Andrychuk, Peter (Nina) Andrychuk, Mike Andrychuk, sisters; Anna (Fred) Oystryk, Nettie (George) Achtemichuk, Mary (Ivan) Uhryn, Kay (Frank) Klos, Elsie (Peter) Holawatiuk.
