Debra Papequash passed away at the age of 59 years on March 13, 2018 in Canora, SK.
A traditional wake was held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from the Key First Nation Saulteauxplex Hall.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 also from the Key First Nation Saulteauxplex Hall.
Internment followed at the Key First Nation Traditional Burial Grounds.
Debbie lived in various places being a gypsy in Vancouver, Calgary, Medicine Hat, Golden, Prince George, Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, Canora, Yorkton and even San Francisco, California. She made Key First Nation her final home. Debra spent most of her childhood on the Key First Nation and attended Norquay schools.
She is predeceased by her parents Frank & Sarah Keshane, sisters Mable, Grace, Mervina, Edna, Edith, Judy. Brothers Randy, Ivan and Patrick, Floyd and her son Joseph Keshane AKA Big Joe.
She is survived by her sisters, Darlene Johnston, Margaret Rose Keshane and a brother. Lawrence Keshane. Her two daughters; Cornelia Keshane and Laverne Keshane, Son; Michael Keshane. 15 grandchildren and 21 great grand-children.
Debra will be missed by all her family and friends.
