Donna Marie Mintuck

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donna Marie Mintuck on February 16, 2023 in Calgary, AB at the age of 30 years. 

Donna was a very kindhearted, loving caring and generous person. She cared deeply for family and friends. She was baptized and received her first communion and confirmation at the St Philips Roman Catholic Church on the Keeseekoose First Nation.She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors where she loved to walk. Donna loved animals, especially her cat Jersey. Every time she would Face time family, she would make us talk to her cat. She was full of love, joy and laughter.

Donna is survived by her mother; Pricilla Kakakaway of Calgary, and Edna Kakakaway, sons; Larelle Mayson Manywounds, and Lakayo Amos John Manywounds, her daughter; Theena Rain Kenesme Melissa Medicine Shield of Calgary.

Donna leaves to mourn her sisters; Le-Ann Mintuck, Geanine Seaton, Alannah Seaton of Calgary, Keshena Keshane of Saskatoon, Shawn Kakakaway, Twyla Kakakaway, Dymin-Lee Kakakaway, Tye-Lee Kakakaway of Keeseekoose First Nation, Edwina Mintuck of Valley River FN, brothers; William Mintuck III, Timmy Lee Mintuck, Gerald Seaton of Calgary, Tristan Seaton of Regina, Denale Mentuck Lavern Kakakaway, Bradley Kakakaway of Keeseekoose FN and Dean Kakakaway of Regina.

Donna is predeceased by her biological father; William Mintuck II, adopted father; John Kakakaway Sr., maternal grandmother; Edith Ida Kakakaway, Walter Shingoose, paternal grandmother; Georgina Mintuck, William Mintuck I, siblings; John Kakakaway, Chandon Kakakaway, Ashley Kakakaway, Micheal Mentuck, Trenton Quewezance of Keeseekoose FN.
