Doreen Cote

Doreen Katherine Cote was born July 3, 1953 in Kamsack, Sk and passed away on September 9, 2021 in Kamsack, Sk She was a hard working woman who raised 2 boys and 2 granddaughters along with her husband Ron. Doreen married her husband Ronald Cote on Nov 30, 1985 in Ericson, Mb in a little blue church. They were married for 48 years. She was born and raised in Cote all her life, where she went to school in St. Philips Residential School in Keeseekoose First Nation. Doreen worked for 27 years at the Kamsack Hospital as a Laundry Care Worker, then went onto work as a Continuing Care Assistant at the Kamsack Nursing home for 3 years.

Doreen is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Cote, parents; Roderick and Gail Cote, Bio parents; William (Gypsy) Cote and Rosabelle Baldhead, Her sisters; Florence (Pinky) Ruby Cote, her brothers; Albert (Cowboy) Musqua, Bernard (Hen-Hen) Whitehawk, Terry Mantee and her great grandson Laurie Wade Cote.

Doreen is survived by her children; Royce (Nicole) ,Allan (Jackie), her grandchildren; Brett, Sarah Jane (Fred), Kathleen, Jasmine (Nolan), Alana (Blaine), Shane, Kendra, Darian (Jalissa), Jayce, her great-grandchildren; Sienna, Ella, Kendrik, Landon, Thomas, Sophia, Raynie, Alaia, Reign, special niece; Twyla, special friend Sandy. Siblings; Beatrice (Ralph Cote), Margaret (Somooze) Cote, Verne (Pondero) Ross and Arnold Cote as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Doreen had a special bond with her sister-in-laws, Emily Cote, Martha Cote and Corinne (her bro) (Lambert) Cote
