Doreen Cecelia Severight

It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Doreen Severight on December 25, 2023 in Canora, Sk at the age of 66 years.

Growing up, she went to Lebret Residental School and St Philips as well. She later up graded at the Park Land College. Doreen worked a few jobs in her life including, Madge Lake Provincial Park, a seamstress on Cote First Nation. This is where she met her life partner, Alvin Kay. She loved all her nieces, nephews and her grandchildren. Doreen loved attending family gatherings and ceremonies.

Doreen is survived by her son; Jeff Severight; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grand child, her one true partner; Alvin Kay, brothers; Joseph Severight, sister; Sandy Cojocar, as well as many adopted siblings. Doreen raised 5 grandchildren; Envy, Jeffrey Jr, Donald, Nashlee, and Bianca.

Doreen is predeceased by her father; John Bailey, mother; Christine Severight, siblings; Russell, Barbra, children; Nicole, Jennifer, Harvey, 3 grandchildren. 

Doreen will be missed.
