George Nykolaishen Obituary

George Stephen Nykolaishen was born December 26, 1930 to Steve and Helen Nykolaishen (nee Dutcheshen). Dad was the older brother to Bill and Marjori He attended school in Kamsack & graduated High School in 1949. Shortly after he started working for the CNR in Kamsack as a ticket agent. Even at a young age dad was a very hard worker. He worked at the family dealership before graduation and after graduation held down both jobs. Working at the dealership in the mornings and for the CNR in the afternoon or evenings. He needed both jobs to support the 2nd love of his life, his automobiles.   

George met Adeline, the love of his life & they were married November 2, 1953. George and Adeline have four children, Ron, Sandra, Allan and Daryl.

When the CNR office left Kamsack, dad committed fully to running the dealership. George was actively involved in the community. He loved taking care of his customers, served as a town councillor, as well as being a member of the White Farm Equipment National Dealer Council. In his younger years, George happily volunteered to help with minor sports, Riverside Golf Course and Westminster Memorial United Church. George loved Madge Lake. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing cards with family and friends. George & Adeline enjoyed their retirement years at Madge Lake moving back into Kamsack five years ago.

 George is survived and loving remembered by his wife Adeline. Son, Ron (Theresa).  Grandchildren, Nolan (Stef), Chad (Shayla) & Chris (Jozi), Greatgrandchildren Mason, Hayley, Jacob, Brynn, Avery, Ella, Brooks & Sutton. Daughter Sandra, Granddaughter Jamie, Grandson in law Chris, Great Granddaughters Mary & Katey. Son Allan (Shelly), Grandchildren Justine & Travis.  Great grandsons Kaesen, Deakin & Kiptyn, Son Daryl, daughter in law Rosie, Grandchildren Tass (Desiree), Michael (Mandi), Paige and Cross. Great granddaughter Mila, Sister in laws Mary Nykolaishen, Betty Bunz and Joan Wosminity.  Numerous nieces & nephews.

George is predeceased by his parents Steve and Helen, brother Bill, sister Marjorie, granddaughter Madison, father and mother in-law Paul & Mary Wosminity, brother in laws Leonard Theisen, Wilfred Bunz, Adam Wosminity, nephew Murray Bunz and grandnephew Josh Bunz.
