Harvey Whitehawk was a knowledge keeper. He understood the protocols of our nation and would always stress the importance of putting down tobacco when we pray. He also had a great understanding of the treaties and could talk for hours on the subject. He inspired all who had the chance to listen to him speak and he loved to share his knowledge. He was kind and would give anyone his last dollar. He was DAD to so many young people. He loved his children and grandchildren very much.

Harvey Elton Whitehawk was born at Kamsack, Sk on April 5, 1947,

to Alex Whitehawk and Hazel Whitehawk (nee Cote ).

Harvey is predeceased by his wife; Priscilla Grace Cote, His Sons; Sanford Severight, Leon Quewezance, Ashley Quewezance, Harvey Whitehawk Jr, Jimmy Cote, Nathan Cote, His Daughters; Karen Brass, Josephine Cote, Wendi Cote, Erica Cote, His Grandchildren; Nicole Brass, Jada Severight, Harvey Cote.

He leaves to mourn his passing, His sons; Garry Severight, William Whitehawk, Jonsey Cote, His Daughters; Terry Severight, Maybelline Cote, Angela ‘Nikki’ Cote, Priscilla Cote, Lifelong  Friend; Willie Cote, Special son-in-Law; LaVern Kakakaway, Sister-Cousin; Ginger Cote
