It is with sadness that the family of Helen Dumonski of Kamsack, Saskatchewan announce her passing on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the age of 98 years in Kamsack, SK.
Helen was born on the farm in the Bear Stream district to Andrew and Annie (Solkow) Zalapski. She attended Bear Stream school and she also played the guitar as the family had their own orchestra.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Nick; daughter, Diana and granddaughter, Lisa. Also her parents and her six brothers, Paul, Walter, Bill, Steve, Tony and Mel and her sister, Mary Yastremski.
She is survived by grandson, David (Robyn) and great grandson, Kai Schebek of Lake Louise and her sister, Lena Rose of Edmonton.
A private family services was held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Andrychuk Funeral in Kamsack, SK with Mr. Kevin Sprong officiating. Interment followed in Riverview Cemetery in Kamsack, SK.
