Hilda McLean

Hilda  McLean passed away March 6, 2018  at the Kamsack and District Nursing Home at the age of 101 years. 

A Funeral Service was held on Saturday March 17th, 2018  from the Chapel of Andrychuk's Funeral Home.

Interment  followed at the Riverview Cemetery.

Hilda (Bennett) McLean was born on August 6, 1916.  She grew up on a farm with her parents and eight siblings in the Kamsack area.  Hilda received her education at Riverdale School. 

She was an avid curler, played shuffleboard and loved gardening.  She and her husband Ken travelled extensively through Canada and the United States.  She loved visiting and playing cards with her family,

Hilda was predeceased by her husband Ken; parents Alfred and Elizabeth Bennett; sons David and Barry; brothers Fred, Ernie, Gordon and Charlie; sisters Mildred, Violet, Mable and Doris.

Hilda is survived by daughters Shirley (Ed) Achtemichuk of Good Spirit Acres, Joan (Jerry) Belay of Regina; daughter-in-law Delores (Barry) Klapatiuk of Saskatoon; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  Her smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew her.
