It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Isadore "Shorty" Keshane on February 4, 2024 in Kamsack, SK at 60 years of age.
Isadore was a very happy, outgoing, loved by many. He attended the St Philips School, started playing hockey from a young age, an awesome goalie. "Shorty" had a lot of friends that he made through out his hockey years and work. He was crazy fun to hang out with. His best years he said were playing hockey, being a goalie with his hockey teams/ friends.
He also traveled across Canada working fire fighting, tree planting, hockey tournaments, a cab driver, loved driving people around. By the way, he was a jockey once! But he got the dust and never returned in Fishing Lake, Frankie, Lawrence and Jimmy put him up to it...LOL
Shorty really loved his music and his good times with friends and family. One thing about Shorty, he had a big heart right to the end. He took care of Koko Mary Jane, whom he missed tremendously.
Isadore is survived by his father; Theodore Strongquill (Geraldine), brothers; Vernon Keshane (Buddy), Alec Keshane (Bernadette), sisters; Sherry Guelke, Laura Keshane (Michael), Victoria Kloos (Jeff), Shelley Strongquill (Lindsey), Muriel Ketchimonia (Lee), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, grandchildren, and friends.
Isadore is predeceased by his mother; Mary Jane Keshane, grandparents; Joe Straightnose, Margaret Starightnose, Victoria and Campbell Strongquill, brother; Teddy Strongquill, sister; Christina Keshane.
We would like to thank everyone for supporting the family during this time.
He will be dearly loved and missed by many.
We love you Shorty
