Jack Nicholas Fofonoff, resident of Kamsack Sk, passed away May 8th at the age of 85. Jack was born in Kamsack and raised in Veregin to Nicholas and Anne Fofonoff. Having grown up on a farm, his work ethic started from a young age. He rode trained ponies and horses, hunted, fished, and worked in the mines with his brother Harry. He loved watching horse racing and travelling.
Jack was a man who cherished his partner Stephanie and children. His unwavering commitment to his family has instilled in them a foundation of compassion and resilience. Jack's legacy is one of kindness and generosity, traits that his children will carry forward into their own lives and relationships. Through them, his spirit will continue to touch the lives of many others.
Jack is predeceased by his loving partner Stephanie Quewezance. Parents Anne and Nicholas Fofonoff. Brothers Peter and Harry as well as sister Sharon. Son Faron Shingoose and daughter Willene Cote.
Jack leaves behind to mourn and celebrate his life are his children Marie, Martin, Carlene, JJ and Maryann. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also carry forward his legacy, cherishing the values and wisdom he imparted
