Jaimee Nicole Fiddler (nee: Kakakaway) was born to Brenda and David Kakakaway at Kamsack, SK. Jaimee is known to have a spirit name given by a local Elder. Jaimee passed away at the Yorkton Hospital due to health complications.
Jaimee is survived by her children William Fiddler, Matthew Fiddler, Breanna Fiddler and Amazing Grace Straightnose; and her loving parents Brenda & Dave; her brother Aaron Kakakaway; and her sweet grandchildren Samantha, Sierra and Kai whom she loved dearly; and at the time of her passing she was with her partner Clayton (Nick) Friday.
Jaimee is pre-deceased by her Grandparents Victor and Evelyn (nee: Musqua) Shingoose; Therese Kakakaway; her brothers David (Jr.) 2008, Evan Kakakaway on July 3, 2022.
Jaimee was the kindest and most caring person; she put her heart and best forward when helping family and friends. Jaimee was very close to her cousins; they were all raised like brothers and sisters. Jaimee in her early years she attended the Keeseekoose Chief’s Education School where she completed her Grade 12; and received the Executive Secretary Diploma from Academy of Learning at Fort Qu’ Appelle, Sask. Her work history was with Post Secondary Keeseekoose First Nation. Jaimee attended numerous other trainings to enhance her job skills. Jaimee married into Cote First Nation to Blain Fiddler; where they raised their children. She continued to make Cote First Nation her home. Jaimee was well known and had many close friends who she cared about dearly. Jaimee loved her grandchildren and was a proud Koko; she cared about their health and well being. Jaimee was also known as a Daddy’s Girl, being the only girl in the family. She called her Dad daily morning and night. Jaimee will be missed by her family, friends, children and grandchildren.
