Jayde Tahayrah Severight

It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of our precious angel Jayde Tahayrah Severight on August 31, 2020 at the age of 12 years.  Jayde was an only child and is survived by her loving parents Falon Severight and Jeff Kayseas; grandfather Dean Picard; grandmother Sheryl Kayseas; Tootoo Rhonda Severight; great-grandmother Janet Severight; great-grandmother Rose (Bill) Dilling; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Jayde was predeceased by her loving grandmother Claudette Severight-Picard; grandfather Carmen Southwind; great-grandfather Joe Severight; aunt Jackie Kayseas; grandfather Bernard Paquachan; grandma Ester Kayseas.

Jayde’s best friends were her special cousins: Khali Cote, Heavenly Choken, Tiarra Wilson, Tianna Severight, Brielle Straightnose, Darlynn Gunn, Brielle Whitehawk, Tylan Nanaquetung, Jay Wilson, Carmello Severight, Shayna Friday, her puppy dog Pugsly and her cat.

The wake will be held on Friday, September, 4, 2020 at the Percy Severight Memorial Hall, Fishing Lake 7:30 pm to 1:00 pm and; 

Wake held on Saturday September 5, 2020 starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Cote First Nation Band Hall and the Funeral service will be held on Sunday September 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Eugene Lacquette officiating.  Interment will followed with Kenny Parenteau at Cote Cemetery. COVID-19 restrictions will be followed.
