She is survived by her only baby girl, Kiercynn Sundown Doll Keshane and her son in-law Titus Stonechild; sister, Denise Brass; and brothers, Carey O’Soup and Daniel O’Soup.
Jeannie was such a loving mother and always wanted best for her baby girl. She was known for her kindness to all those around her. Jeannie was always giving to others and never expected anything in return. She was a bright light, and she touched the heart of many people.
Growing up Jeannie had all her male cousins to play and hangout with as they got older. Jeannie was part of a wrestling organization for a number of years and would wrestle with her male cousins for loonies, that her uncle Bill would pay them with. She worked at various jobs throughout the years, including Keeseekoose store.
Before her passing, Jeannie was so proud and excited to become a grandmother in June. She completed a 16-week treatment program at EHN Willowview Recovery Centre and had so many plans for this coming year with her grandchild.
Jeannie will always be remembered for her humour, unique style, colorful hairstyles and her fearlessness when anyone tried to mess with her.
Jeannie also leaves to mourn her friends at the YWCA and Regina area, along with numerous family members.
