He was raised in The Key First Nation, Yorkton Saskatchewan, and Brandon Manitoba. He lived so many places but called Saskatoon home.

Joshua Tyson David  a.k.a. Hollywood was a kind, caring, loving soul. He was spontaneous, could just hop in his car and drive across the country. Joshua lived a colourful life. He was a unique soul.

Joshua's loved his cousins very much, he referred to them as siblings, not cousins.

He had two moms, who he loved very much, as well as his father, Ferlyn and his bud, Felix.

He was amazing with children. He was a big kid at heart. He loved his nieces. He always thanked his sisters for having daughters, because he got a second chance at being a big brother and doing it right, this time. He was the best uncle.

As a teenager, Joshua lived with his Kooks, along with the other grandsons commonly known, as Kook’s boys. Joshua was a big baby. He called his mom “my best friend "in her opinion it was butter up words. lol His answer to all situations was “just call my mom"
