Lawrence “Sho-Tie” Wapash
Passed away on November 7, 2011 in Yorkton, SK at 61 years of age. A wake was held on Wednesday, November 9 at the Keeseekoose First Nation Band Hall. Lawrence’s funeral service was held on Thursday, November 10 also at the Keeseekoose First Nation Band Hall. Interment followed at the Keeseekoose Full Gospel Cemetery.
Lawrence was born on October 23, 1950 in Kamsack,SK.
Lawrence is survived by his wife Joyce Quewezance. Children: G-Anne Wonnick (Elwin George), Lawrence Gordon, Brian Gordon(Jamie Iron eagle), Curtis Maytwayashing, Alison Peepeetch(Sherman), Ramona Quewezance, Aaron Wapash, Anders Wapash (Sam Rondeau), Larissa Link later (Darren Badger), Manuel Severight, Lawrence Quewezance, Ula Wapash (Kevin Cachene), Bronson Wapash, Summer Rayne Wapash, Quintina Wapash, Montoya Wapash.
Special Grandchildren: Delraine Gordon,Camille Cachene, Miracle Wapash, Marlee Quewezance, Toby Head Jr, Shylissa Quewezance, Matthew Gordon, Orlana Gordon, Wayne Gordon, Christopher Clayborne, Alexis Badger, Hunter Wapash, Kaidence Wapash, Cassidy Wapash, Orion Wapash, Timia Mintuck, Aliya Clare, Cassius Quewezance, Darren Badger Jr, and numerous other grandchildren.
Great Grandchildren: Colby Gordon and Kayti-Lynn Whitehawk.
