Le-Anne Lavone Mintuck

With great sadness the family announces the passing of Le-Anne Lavonne on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in Calgary, AB. Le-Anne was 37 years old at the time of her passing.

Le-Anne was born on December 27, 1987 to Priscilla Kakakaway and The late William Mintuck II. She was a loving mother to her 6 beautiful children; Dylin Dixon (Sydney), Weston Big Plume, Allison Big Plume, Nibi Mintuck, Perry Big Plume and Jess Big Plume and will be missed by her special friend, Rusty Big Plume. Le-Anne was very outgoing and easy to get along with. She made friends all over, where she went. She graduated in 2014. At the time of her illness, she wanted to go back to school and further her education and be a nurse like her mother. In her years of being a teenager, she danced Jingle and she got the opportunity to play a role in a movie.

Le-Anne is survived by her mother; Priscilla Kakakaway, brothers; William Mintuck III, Timmy Lee Mintuck and Gerald Seaton, sisters; Geanine Seaton, Alannah Seaton, adopted brothers; Bronson Crowchild, Dean Kakakaway and Justin Woodside, adopted sisters; Tristen Panther Bone, Keshena Kakakaway, and Julisa Quewezance, uncles; Cameron and Brian Mintuck and Jake Quewezance, aunties; Edna Kakakaway, Mildred Mintuck, Connie Mintuck, Natalie Mintuck, Cindy Severight, Leisha Eagle Bear, and Tamara Bovencamp, as well numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Le-Anne is predeceased by her father; William MIntuck II, sister; Donna Mintuck, brother; Tristan Seaton, maternal grandparents; Walter Shingoose and Ida Kakakaway, paternal grandparents; William Mintuck I and Georgina Mintuck.

Le-Anne will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
