Les Fesik Obituary

It is with great sadness that we the family of Leslie Fesik announce his passing on April 2, 2022.

Leslie was born on August 8, 1961 in Kamsack, SK to parents, George and Marion Fesik.

His first line of employment was with Mydonic Building Movers at the young age of 16, also getting his class 1A that he was so proud of. He also worked for CN and multiple construction companies as a heavy equipment operator and in his last years working for Cando Rail.  He was proud of the companies that he owned and operated such as Triple J Taxi, Triple J Transport and Fesik Logging. Leslie was a hard-working individual who always provided for his family.

At the age of 16, he also met the love of his life, Marlene (Paul) and they were married on October 14, 1978.

On March 4, 2010 he became a proud grandfather with the birth of his first grandchild, Hayley, than on May 2, 2018 he became an extremely happy grandfather once again with the birth of his second grandchild, Jessica.

Leslie enjoyed demolition derby’s, fishing, camping and hunting. He loved modifying muscle cars and rebuilding old trucks. He loved spending time around bonfires having a Lucky beer and a shot of whiskey with his family and friends. We can not forget the love he had for his dog, Misty.

Leslie is survived by his wife, Marlene of 44 years; daughter, Joni Petrychyn (Chad) and granddaughter, Jessica; daughter, Jamie Kiser (Chris) and granddaughter, Hayley and son, Jermey Fesik (Addie); mother, Marion (Sam Hornbrook); brothers, Ed Fesik (Judy), Steven Fesik, Darrell Fesik (Sherrie), Dale Fesik (Cathy) and sisters, Kathy and Sandra Fesik along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his father, George and grandson, Troy Kiser (at birth).
