Lisa Grace Kakakaway

Passed away on December 17, 2011 at the age of 41 years, at Keeseekoose First Nation.
A wake was held on Monday, December 19 at the Keeseekoose First Nation Band Hall on the Keeseekoose First Nation.
A funeral mass was celebrated on December 20 at St. Phillip’s Roman Catholic Church.
Interment followed at the St Phillips Parish Cemetery.

Lisa was born on January 17, 1970 at Kamsack,SK.She attended school at St Phillips and later continued her education.

Lisa cherished her two children Chelsea and Craig and her grandson Emery. Emery always brought great joy to her life. Lisa was a very humble and loving person who always welcomed everyone into her home. She always took the time out to speak with her family. Lisa valued her traditions and Catholic Faith. She enjoyed nature and spending time in the mountains.

Lisa went to be with her mother on December 17, 2011, she will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her partner Joseph Keshane, her father George Kakakaway, Children Chelsea and Craig Kakakaway, grandson Emery Kakakaway, brothers Bernard, Greg (Bonnie), Michael (Sylvia), Alec, Patrick (Bonnie),Brian, and one sister Loretta (Joseph Durocher).

She will be also missed by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Lisa was predeceased by her mother Sylvia Kakakaway, Sister Veronica, two brothers in infancy Edwin her aunt Ida as well as her grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.
