Marlene Horkoff

Horkoff Marlene (nee Perepiolkin) received her angel wings on November 5, 2018 at age 55 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon,SK. She passed away with her loving husband at her side at the Royal University Hospital. Her battle with cancer was finally over.

Marlene was born in Verigin, daughter of late Mike and Martha Perepiolkin. Later the family moved to Kamsack, where she attended Kamsack Collegiate Institute.

While working at the P & V Eatery, she met the love of her life Kerry Horkoff. Marlene and Kerry where married on July 4, 1998. They celebrated their 20 anniversary this year. They would spend many hours together fishing summer and winter. She had many recipes, once it came to cooking fish. She also enjoyed baking, trying new things and recipes. Marlene took great pride in garden and flowers around the yard. She also had a soft spot for any animal. She will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.

Marlene was predeceased by her parents Mike and Martha Perepiolkin, great-niece Kori Thomas, and brother – law Lanny Warriner.

Marlene will be sadly missed by her husband Kerry Horkoff, sister Lydia (Lloyd) Thomas, sister Arlene Warriner, brother Tim (Pat) Perepiolkin, sister Caroline Perepiolkin, brother Fred (Becky) Perepiolkin, sister- in- law Marcia (Terry) Ferguson, nieces and nephews.

As per Marlene’s request a celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2019.

If friends so desire, donation’s in Marlene’s memory may be made to Royal University Hospital Oncology Unit through Andrychuk Funeral Home.
