May Cote

It is with sadness that the family of May Cote announce her passing on November 29, 2023 in the Invermay Health Center at the age of 74 years.

May Cote was born on May 30th, 1949 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. May enjoyed spending time with her family and worked as a kindergarten teacher in her early years. 

She is survived by her brother John Genaille, her three grand-daughters; Niomi May Sunshine, Dee-jay Dolly Genaille and Desiree Diane Genaille, her one grandson Buddy-Jo Bodnarek, her three great grandchildren; Riddick Redwood, Reagan Gilbert-Bodnarek and Legacy Sunshine-Mchugh, her extended family; Bonnie Cote. 

May is predeceased by her father; Fred Ackygun, her sister; Janet Ackygun, her brother; Lenard Ackygun, her only son; Orlando Genaille-Cote, her grand-daughter; Aretha Bodnarek and her husband; Eric Cote.
