Michael "Smiley" Whitehawk

Micheal Earl Whitehawk (Smiley). Born March 11, 1955 Passed Away March 2, 2020 at the tender age of 64 years in his home, with his family by his side.

Smiley is predeceased by his Daughter, Stephanie Whitehawk;  parents, Clifford and Joyce Whithawk; Brother, Joseph Whitehawk; father in law, Leonard Cote (Boycha); Sisters in laws, Philisine, Wanda, Ann Cote and Mabel Whitehawk; brother in law, Gaberial Cote.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Francis (Missann) Whitehawk; his sons, Lawrence, Douglas, Jason (Charlotte), David (Jessica), Isiah (Alexi) Whitehawk, and Micheal (Laura) Cote, his daughters in law that always fought for the title, 

Roberta Musqua, Pamela Whitehawk, Brittany Doroucher, but Smiley loved all his daughters in law equally, several grandchildren, Jaylessa, Hailey, Ashley (Shania), Zachery (Raqiem), Tylan, Kayla (Lance), Taya, Dalen, Jason JR. Sheri, Cherish, Phoniex, Walker and Kelsey  and great grandchildren, Stephan, Liam, Hunter, Yusuf, Ameerah, Norris and Daisja. He loved them all dearly. 

He is also survived by his mother in law, Mabel Cote; his brothers, Clifford, Ronald, Gary (Gwen), Darren (Lavina), Vernon and Wilfred Whitehawk; his sisters, Shirley Mchugh, Lorrina (Calvin) Ironstand, Trudine (Roy) Cote, Thelma Brownie Severight (his Elizabeth Taylor) numerous nieces and nephews which he had a nickname for each and everyone of them. His sister in laws that he always liked to bug, Evelyn Cote and his God daughter, Thelma Whitehawk/Cote.He is also survived by numerous first cousins that he took as brothers and sisters.  

A wake for Smiley will start on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 4:00 pm from the Cote First Nation Band Hall.  

A Funeral Service will be held for him on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 am from the Cote First Nation Band Hall with Chief George Cote officiating.  

Interment will follow in the St. Philip's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
