It is with great sadness that the family of Micky Rezansoff announce his passing at the age of 49 years.
Mickey was born July 22, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta. He moved to Togo area in 1976. Mickey attended Togo school until grade six and then went to Kamsack collegiate. His love for mechanics and electronics brought him to many different schools and courses, SIAST for Micro Technologies, SIAST for heavy equipment mechanic and the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Technology where he studied mechanics as well. He did all of this overcoming a brain injury from a car accident in 1989. His love for these trades and skills had to come to an end as his disability started to win.
He started spending his time doing small jobs that let him have better life dealing with his pain. He loved video games and anything Star Wars. Mickey also started collecting comic books before it was cool.
Mickey gave his life to Jesus at a very young age and lived for him daily, his favorite verse Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t worry, I am with you. Don’t be afraid, I am your god. I will make you strong and help you. I will support you with my right hand that brings victory” Knowing this gives us all peace that he was never alone, and he was never scared.
Left to suffer his loss is his Mom Lucille and his dad Phil of Togo. Also left to morn is Dustin Allarie(Larissa) his son. His brother, John Rezansoff (Aeh) and his sisters, Rhonda (Tim) Falkiner and Loreen (Dave) Zaporosky plus many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service was held for Mickey on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Parkland Evangelical Free Church in Kamsack with Pastor Stephen Ruten officiating.
