Patrenella Jeannette Schwartz

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patrenella (Patsy) Schwartz on Wednesday January 28th, 2026 in Langenburg, Saskatchewan at the age of 91 years. 

Patsy was born in 1934 in Kamsack, Sask to Eugene & Annie Short. Patsy was married to Albert Schwartz on November 14th 1953, at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Togo, Sask. Together, they farmed until 1993 when they moved into the town of Togo. 

Patsy worked at the Silver Thread Drop-in and In Good Taste in Togo over the years & enjoyed belonging to The Royal Purple for 50 years & serving as a member of the legion as well.  

Albert & Patsy moved into Yorkton to become residents of a senior's complex in 2008 & several years after Albert’s passing Patsy moved to Langenburg in June of 2024 where she resided in a senior's living unit until her peaceful passing at the Centennial Special Care Home in Langenburg.  

Patsy had many passions including gardening, playing cards, making cabbage rolls and spending time with all her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Patsy is survived by her children Abe (Marci), Ennedy and Wade (Shelly), 6 grandchildren, (Jason, Carla, Jen, Adam, Jamie & Amanda) 9 great-grandchildren, (Jake, Kaya, Marissa, Iyla, Joss, Brynn, Jaxx, Meah & Sophia) 4 sisters, Peggy, Dorothy (Gilbert), Ricky (Willy) & Rachael, 1 brother Joe, 2 sister in-laws Jean & Donna and many nieces and nephews. 

Patsy is predeceased by her husband (Albert), her parents, (Eugene & Annie), two brothers (Mel & Jim), son in-law (Lorne), sister in-law (Joyce) and two brother in-laws (Johnny & Pete).
