It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Downes announces her passing at the age of 103 years on Saturday, Oct 2, 2010 in Kamsack, SK.
A graveside Service was held on Tuesday, Oct 5, 2010 at the Riverview Cemetery in Kamsack, with Merv Dubnik officiating.
Pauline was born on Sept 11, 1907 at Meloneck, SK, and was living at the Kamsack Nursing Home at her time of passing. She is survived by her son's Reg Higgs, James (Sandy) Higgs, Allen (Florence) Downes and daughter Marion (Sam) Fesik-Hornbrook, 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Parents William and Nancy (Holoboff) Kabatoff,First husband Jack Higgs, Second husband Walter Downes, brothers, Bill, Alex, Peter and sister Mary.
