Ralph George Cote

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph George Cote .

He is survived by his wife Beatrice, children, daughter Lori-Lee, Jenna, Larissa, Debbie, sons, Roderic, Forbes, Sylvan, Robert, Gabe, Gordie.  Special grandchildren, Damaris, Dominic, Rodrica, Lissi, Georgina and many many more, too numerous to mention.  He will be also missed by several great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.. His sisters Rena, Cindy and Tammy, brother Shawn & special brother Grant.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter (Micky) & Mary, brothers Blair, Wayne; sister Lorraine.

He was the last traditional  hereditary Chief at Cote First Nation. Ralph was a traditional man and cherished the culture of his people.  He loved to hunt and provide for his family.  He preserved traditions and teachings by passing them on to his children using stories and the oral tradition.  Ralph had a great sense of humour, always the trickster and was equally caring and loving of his wife, children and all he met. 

Sleep easy husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
