Richard Cote

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Richard Cote. Richard passed away at the age of 88 years old. Richard enjoyed playing bingo and saying hi to all his lady friends, and placing bets on the horses. He was a strong believer in the cultural practices of ceremonies where he helped out many families that were in need of spiritual healing. That was one thing he never forgot to practice, including speaking his Saulteaux language. With his smile and humor, you cannot help but to laugh along with him. He was so loved by so many including the surrounding Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Remember that smile and the stories Richard has shared with you and keep them in your hearts.
