Richard Lecaine

Richard was born in Kamsack, SK on October 27, 1970 to Emily Cote and Gus LeCaine. Richard became a father in 1994 to his Daughter Christina, he was then blessed with another beautiful daughter Allison in 1995, 16 years later he was blessed with his baby girl Khloe.

In 2012 Richard became a proud Grandfather to Claire. Two years later his grand-daughter Chanelle and last but not least his first grandson was born, Jace.

In 2019 he met his honey Sonia whom he loved so much where they spent a lot of time outdoors camping. Richard enjoyed working construction, concrete and carpentry. He enjoyed spending time with his friends most importantly his brother and partner in crime, Harry (Jarron). Richard has never loved anybody the way he loved children. He was his mother’s biggest baby and got his way, her MacGyver by using his Red Green talent. He loved music and his Canada Coolers.

Richard is Survived by his Mother Emily Cote. Brothers-Preston (Janice), Jarron (Matilda). Sisters-Phoebe (Ashley). Children-Christina (Austin), Allison (Orin), Khloe. Grandchildren-Claire, Chanelle, Jace, Jacen, Ella, Bella, Aaliyah, Ava, and Lexie. Aunty Martha, Corrine, Doreen. Uncles- Frank, Lambert. Nieces- Santana, Tristan, Sharell, Samantha, Brooklyn, and his “babuch” Ashtyn. Nephews-Harlon, Newton, Teo, Braden, Zachary, and Tyrone. And above all his “little brother” Lucas.

Richard is predeceased by his father Gus, Step-Father Fred, Brother Alfred and Terry. Sister-Floydine. Grand-daughter- Alayah. Grandparents-Edith & Charles Cote, John & Christina LeCaine. Aunties-Linda, Grace Peigan, Stella Goodwill, Margerat Schmaltz, Marge Gazan. Uncles- Ronald, Blair, Keith Cote. Uncles Ronald (Bunky) Peigan, John Marie LeCaine, Albert Gazan. Cousins- Paul Peigan, Adeline Warren John Jr. and Lonnie LeCaine.
