It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Quewezance on June 3, 2025 at his home on the Keeseekoose First Nation at the age of 68 years.
Robert was born in Kamsack on May 22, 1957 to his parents Marjorie Fiddler and Cyril Quewezance.
Robert is survived by his children; Freedom Munroe, Edgar Kakakaway, Bernard Kakakaway and Kenny Severight; siblings; William (Mike) Quewezance, Linda Quewezance, Wanda Wapash, Joey G, and Seraphine Straightnose, Marcy's children/ grandchildren; Brandon, Grayson, Treasure, Reiner, Tamika (Ashley), Kylius, Brendle, Asher, Ashlynn, Aurelia, and Reign, Roberta (Dylan), Sterling Jr, Saria-Rein, Sharnel, Oaklynn, Orianna, Lily, Chad, Katie Lynn, great grandson; Kason, Robert Jr, Aiden, Darlene, Karley (Chandler), Kym-Hireath, Kasyn-Hayse, Edgar's children; Tivonne, Telesphore, Edgar Jr, Nico, Sauvonne, grandchildren; Sebastian, Katherine, Zaiden and Alyson, Bernard Sr (BJ) children; Dylane, Sienna and Bernard Jr, as well as numerous family and friends.
Robert is predeceased by his parents; Marjorie (Fiddler) and Cyril Quewezance, paternal grandparents; Laura (Cadotte) and Fred Quewezance, Verna and Jake Fiddler, his aunts; Mary Brass, Irene Leclaire, Amelia uncles; Robert, Donald, Paul and many more, mother's side; Albert Fiddler, Bill Fiddler, aunts; Caroline, Ethel and Myrtle, daughter; Marcy Strongquill, brothers; Wally Severight, Arnold Shingoose, Wayne Shingoose, Wayne Wapash, sisters; Sylvia Kakakaway, Mavis Kakakaway, Edna Rheinhart and Emilene Langan.
Bobby was loved by many, he will be missed by all his cousins, nephews, nieces and his dear friends.
