Shyann Lynn Severight

It’s with great sadness that the family of Shyann Severight announced her unexpected passing on December 20th, 2025 at the age of 26 years.

Shyann was born on May 6, 1999 at the Yorkton Regional Hospital. Shyann was the second oldest out of her seven siblings. Shyann’s early education took place in a variety of places as she was always on the go between Alberta and Saskatchewan. Shyann's pride and joy in her life was her two and half year old daughter Sarah. Who made Shyann realize life was worth living and made great changes to her lifestyle to be the mother she always dreamed to be. Besides being a great mother she always made sure she was an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. She always made sure she did her very best to be with her sisters at any given moment in their lives and celebrate all their small accomplishments, she was always their biggest supporter. Shyann had many hobbies throughout her life she loved her art work, to express herself through music and poetry, she loved to do beading, to make ribbon skirts and anything else you could name, during the spring/summertime she loved to go long boarding and be in the outdoors, one of her biggest things she enjoyed to do was spend time with her family and playing with her nieces. Shyann’s life was cut short but in her little time on earth she made a huge impact on everyone she knew and loved. Shyann always made sure to live life to the fullest with no regrets and no matter how many times life threw curveballs at her she never gave upand always rose to the top. Her life was a testament of love,faith and family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Shyann was predeceased by her grandmother; Sonia Severight, Auntie; Miranda Severight, and cousin; Gregory Severight.

Shyann is survived by her Grandfather; Lloyd Brass, Mother; Amanda (Chet) Severight; Daughter; Sarah Severight, Siblings; Savannah (Ben) Severight, Envy Severight, Latifah (Scott) Severight, Airianna Machiskinic, Alaryk Machiskinic, and Anyah Machiskinic, Nieces Riley Gravel-Severight, Cecilia Severight and Kehlani Motilaga-Severight, along with extended family and friends.

Shyann will be forever loved and missed.
