Tawni Severight Obituary

It is with great sadness that our beautiful Tawni Rayne Severight left this earth to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 31 on March 31, 2024. She was a bright light in the lives of all who knew and loved her along with her laughter and optimism that brought much joy to everyone. Tawni lived life to the fullest, always open to new adventures and travel opportunities. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Tawni's memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her, reminding them to embrace each day with faith, courage, and hope. While we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Tawni lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared. May her light continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who had the privilege of her presence. She was the most supportive, helpful, loyal, kind, humble, loving, person and is deeply missed. Tawni was extremely intelligent and was looking forward to her convocation for the completion of the Mental Health and Wellness Diploma program at SIIT and was accepted into University of Regina’s Social Work Program. She was a certified Esthetician Nail Technician and was a classy high-fashioned skilled make-up artist/hair stylist that adventurously lived life to the fullest travelling the world.

Tawni leaves to mourn the love of her life Brad who treated her like a queen and her loving cats: Squirrel, Chucky, Summer, and Stormy. Her biological siblings: Marlon, Khali, Cassius, and Bria. She was very close to her brother Marlon and sister Khali, as they talked and visited daily. Rhonda took the place of a loving mother supporting Tawni with everything while praying and speaking blessings over her life. Her grandmother Janet who thought the world of her always being an encouragement and seeking God through prayer. She was special and precious to all her cousins/aunties/uncles that were dear to her heart as she considered them to be her sisters and brothers, most notably Dawn, Tiarra, Shelley, Terri, Angela, Claudia, Shyla, Delilah, Chelsey, Gwen, Ariel, Bridgette, Melanie, Regan, Connie, Heavenly, Falon, Mahayla, Sandra, Kyla, Odette, Chantel, Claudine, Becky, Carol, Maxine, Niomi, Jaclyn, Bradlee, Raven, Kenilee, Sheniah, Brittany, Mona, Darlynn and many others.

Tawni was predeceased by her mother Charmaine Severight, father Kelvin Sumner, special aunt Claudette, favourite baby cousin Jayde, and her beloved cat Ayebaby along with many other family members she dearly loved.
