The family would like to thank the many families and friends who came and sat with her over the last few years. Though she was slowly declining in her health she was still active on her casino outings and her mind was still very sharp. She lived a long beautiful traditional and Christian life that she passed onto her children through her stories and her teachings. This beautiful Anishinaabe Kwe Matriarch leaves a rich and beautiful legacy behind with all her children, grandchildren, friends and families to share.

Chi-meeguech Creator and our blessed Mother – we are comforted to know that our dad, sisters, brother, and all her relations are over there welcoming her home, now that her work on earth is done.
