Virginia was brought up in the traditional lifestyle, she attended ceremonies, and also powwows for her kids she loved watching them dance. Virginia was very close with her Sister Barbara they had a very unbreakable bond when Barb passed away Virginia was very sad she felt alone, but their baby brother Kenneth helped Virginia they only had each other “Facing the World Alone.” Virginia was close with her Brother Steven (Cote) they had a very strong bond they would always get cheeky with one and other and help one another they were very close in life always making plans to move to new places and guide each other in life and support one another. Virginia took her sister Barbara's son as her own, Kenton Severight (Sugar Bear) Barbra told Virginia to look after her son if anything happened. When Barbara passed away she took him as his own “son” loved him as her own and protected him also she always wanted her own boy so she had him and looked after him but it didn't feel right also, Virginia said “After a year when Barb passes maybe it will feel right.” But Virginia loved her three children equally in life.
